PURPOSE: A method for inputting a password using a game and a device thereof are provided to reduce the dangers of password hacking by differentiating a generation position of the password every time the password is inputted in the game. CONSTITUTION: A password image display unit(110) displays a group password image including a password image on an area of a display unit. A receiving unit(120) receives movement information from an external input unit. A character image display unit(130) displays a character image moving accordingly to the movement information on the display unit. If the character image is in contact with the group password image, a determining unit(140) determines the selection of the password image included in the group password image in contact. An authentication unit(150) performs a user authentication process based on the password information corresponding to the selected password image.
