<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid ink composition suitable to inkjet printing including printing to coated paper base materials. <P>SOLUTION: The solid ink composition contains at least one crystalline oxazoline compound, at least one amorphous component derived from a polyol, a colorant, and as required, a viscosity regulator.
