<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnosis apparatus that in ablation treatment, enables an operator to accurately and reliably confirm an ablation region by displaying a pressure contact degree (the ablation region) on a display image without using an imaging agent, and is thereby minimally invasive to a subject to be treated. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image diagnosis apparatus includes: a storage unit 4 for storing, as first medical image information, three-dimensional images representing internal information of the subject M; an image processing unit 5 for generating a display image on the basis of the first medical image information and second medical image information; and a display unit 6 for displaying the display image generated by the image processing unit 5. The image processing unit 5 includes: a catheter position information detecting unit 56 for calculating the position of a balloon catheter C to detect position information; and a balloon pressure-contact degree calculation unit 57 for calculating the degree A of pressure contact between tissue of the subject M and a balloon b on the basis of the first medical image information and the position information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
