The invention relates to an upwardly directed spray device (10) for a water closet (1), containing a spray arm (11), which can be extended and retracted telescopically along its longitudinal axis (A) and has a spray head (12), and a drive unit (21) for extending and retracting the spray arm (11). The upwardly directed spray device (10) has a fixed-location longitudinal guide member (16) which, at that end of the spray arm (11) which is located opposite the spray head (12), has a longitudinal portion pushed telescopically into the spray arm (11) or pushed over the same. The spray arm (11) is guided by a guide sleeve (14), wherein the spray arm (11) can be displaced telescopically along its longitudinal axis (A), and relative to the fixed-location longitudinal guide member (16), by means of the drive unit (21) and can thus be extended and retracted in relation to the guide sleeve (14). |
