In order to provide a control device that is capable of preventing a rotating electrical machine and an inverter from overheating due to a current flowing therethrough, while ensuring the required production of electricity, when both a first engagement device and a second engagement device are in a state of slip engagement and the rotating electrical machine is generating power, the control device is provided with a power generation and rotational speed control unit that performs power generation and rotational speed control, which involves controlling the output torque of the rotating electrical machine in such a manner that the rotational speed of the rotating electrical machine approaches a target rotational speed, while both the first engagement device and the second engagement device are in a state of slip engagement and the rotating electrical machine is generating power. The power generation and rotational speed control unit performs electricity production maintenance and control, which involves determining the target rotational speed on the basis of the monitored temperature of the rotating electrical machine and/or the temperature of the inverter, and keeping the electricity production of the rotating electrical machine at a target electricity production. |
