PURPOSE: A brake device of a winch for pulling a ship is provided to prevent safety accidents by obtaining an accurate brake force for the winch and to maximize brake efficiency by reducing a rotation load. CONSTITUTION: A brake device(100) of a winch for pulling a ship comprises a stationary member(110), a driving member(120), and a buffer member(130). One side of the stationary member has a teeth shape to engage with a rotary gear(30). The driving member makes the stationary member move forward or backward by using an actuator so that the stationary member can be engaged with or separated from the rotary gear. At least one of the actuator, a shock absorber, and an elastomer is selectively used as the buffer member to reduce a rotation load generated when the stationary is engaged with the rotary gear. |
