<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formulation which has reduced quantity of fine powder even if it comprises a herbal dry extract having high hygroscopicity, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A composition comprising a herbal dry extract is sprayed with an aqueous solution of a binder including pregelatinized starch to granulate a fluid bed, thus a herbal medicine formulation is obtained. In the pregelatinized starch, the content of a water-soluble component may be 45 to 90 mass%, and the viscosity of the 3 mass% aqueous solution may be 100 to 300 mPa s at room temperature under 30 rpm. The content of the pregelatinized starch may be 0.1 to 5 mass%, and the content of the herbal dry extract may be 40 to 95 mass% to the whole of the formulation. The herbal medicine formulation may be a powdered medicine in which the content of fine powder of 200 mesh passes (≤75 μm) is 10 mass% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
