<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof system for the vehicle that includes a roof opening to a roof part. <P>SOLUTION: The system has a closure, and the closure can be moved between a closed position and an open position. A stationary guide rail slidably guides a motion mechanism that longitudinally operates the closure of the vehicle. The motion mechanism includes a first device that contains a lever for moving a rear edge of the closure toward the rising position. A second device includes a lever for moving a front edge of the closure to the vertical direction. The lever includes a first rotate connection part, a second, and a third connection parts with the closure at a first end part, and the second and the third connections connect individual levers to a guide slide. The lever is rotatably connected with the slide member.
