<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or suppress damages of a printing material container and a printer caused by short between terminals. <P>SOLUTION: The printing material container includes a first device, a second device, and a terminal group. The terminal group includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal. The first terminal is connected to the first device and includes a first contact part for contacting a corresponding terminal among device-side terminals. The second terminal is connected to the second device and includes a second contact part for contacting a corresponding terminal among the device-side terminals. The third terminal is for detecting short between the second terminal and the third terminal, and includes a third contact part for contacting a corresponding terminal among the device-side terminals. The second contact part, the first contact part, and the third contact part are arranged to form one or a plurality of rows.
