PURPOSE: A tidal current generating device using a collision preventing structure of a bridge and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent a barge or a ship from directly colliding with a bridge by installing the tidal current generating device in a collision preventing structure. CONSTITUTION: A tidal current generating device using a collision preventing structure of a bridge comprises a turbine supporting structure(120) and generation modules(130). The turbine supporting structure is installed between a pair or collision preventing structures(30) and comprises a turbine module(110). The generation modules are formed in the collision preventing structures to be connected to the turbine module and generate electricity using the power transferred from the turbine module.
