APPARATUS FOR SUPPORTING EXHAUST PIPE OF TURBOCHARGER

An apparatus for supporting an exhaust pipe of a turbocharger. A first turbocharger (1) is connected onto a first auxiliary support (5) by being supported via a first flange (2). The exhaust pipe (3) is coaxially connected to a hole within the first flange (2). A first exhaust pipe lower support (8) is fixed to the first auxiliary support (5) via a fist nut (10) and a first bolt (6). A second turbocharger (12) is connected onto a second auxiliary support (14) by being supported via a second flange (13). The exhaust pipe (3) is coaxially connected to a hole within the second flange (13). A positioning pin sleeve (9) is fixed to a second auxiliary support (14) via a second exhaust lower support (16), a second nut (17), and a second bolt (15). The second exhaust pipe lower support (16) is provided with a slide hole (4). The slide hole (4) and the positioning pin sleeve (9) are provided therebetween with a gap. The slide hole (4) and the positioning pin sleeve (9) are allowed to slip relative to each other. The apparatus is structurally simple, compact, and logical, for use in connectively supporting two exhaust pipes of the turbocharger, allows for reduced occurrence of deformation, cracking, and disconnection after the exhaust pipe is heated, thus allowing safe and reliable use thereof.
