PURPOSE: A device and a method for setting the extinguishing temperature of a boiler are provided to exactly calculate the length of a pipe for hot water through a unit for calculating the length of the pipe, and to calculate the temperature difference between supply water and return water. CONSTITUTION: A device for setting the extinguishing temperature of a boiler comprises a unit(40) for inputting set temperature, a unit(10) for measuring supply temperature, a unit(20) for measuring return temperature, and a unit(30) for determining the extinguishing temperature. The unit for inputting the set temperature inputs the set temperature for operating the boiler. The unit for measuring the supply temperature measures the supply temperature of heating water discharged to the outlet of a circulation pump. The unit for measuring the return temperature measures the return temperature of heating water flowing into the inlet of the circulation pump. The unit for determining the extinguishing temperature is connected to the unit for inputting the set temperature, the unit for measuring the supply temperature, and the unit for measuring the return temperature. The extinguishing temperature of the boiler is determined by applying a temperature weighting according to temperature difference between the supply temperature and the return temperature. |
