<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently removing the scale adhered to the surface of a hard material without generating corrosion or degradation of the material surface. <P>SOLUTION: The method for removing a hardly removable inorganic scale adhered to the surface of the hard material includes: a first step of cleaning the surface of a hard material to which the scale adheres, using an acidic cleaning agent; a second step of drying the surface treated by the first step; and a third step of cleaning the treated surface in the second step using an alkaline cleaning agent. It is preferable that a liquid mixture including methanesulfonic acid and hydroxycarboxylic acid is used as the acidic cleaning agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
