<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing devolatilized polyolefin hardly causing the generation of cavitation in water injection piping by preventing water supplied to a twin-screw extruder from flowing backward to the upstream side in the extruder when the polyolefin is devolatilized by water injection foaming, and to provide a polyolefin molding showing excellence in low fogging. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the devolatilized polyolefin using the twin-screw extruder having, from the upstream side of a cylinder 1, a resin feed port 2, the first molten resin kneading zone 6, a molten resin unfilled zone 7 which is not full of the molten resin, the second molten resin kneading zone 8 and a devolatilizing zone 9 includes steps for: supplying the polyolefin from the resin feed port; and supplying 0.01 to 50 pts.wt. of water based on 100 pts.wt. of the polyolefin to the molten resin unfilled zone 7 to foam and devolatilize the polyolefin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
