<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the manufacturing cost of a connector while enabling the connector to be connected through operation in a direction orthogonal to a connector connection direction. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a jig 30A for connector connection which connecting a substrate-side connector C1 including a housing 10 having a shaft part 11 on a side face thereof, to a wiring material-side connector C2 including a housing 20 having a shaft part 21 on a side face thereof. This jig 30A includes a pair of side plate parts 31 holding the housings 10, 20 in a temporary fitting state therebetween. Each side plate part 31 has a first guide part 34 and a second guide part 36 which guide the shaft parts 11, 21 as the jig 30A is moved along the housings 10, 20. The guide parts 34, 36 are so configured that when the jig 30A is moved in an operation direction, the shaft parts 11, 21 are put closer relatively to each other in a connector connection direction and when the jig 30A is moved in the opposite direction, the jig 30A is allowed to be moved away from both the housing 10, 20 while the position relation between the shaft parts 11, 20 is maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
