<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance learning efficiency when multiple word books are used for learning. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic dictionary 1 comprises: multiple word book tables 870 in which multiple words are stored and each word of the multiple words is stored in association with indication of whether the word has been already learned or not yet learned; an input section 30 for selecting any of the word book tables 870 as a selected workbook table 870S based on operation of a user; and a CPU 20 which refers to other word book tables 870 different from the selected word book table 870S and has the words associated with indication of having not yet been learned in the selected word book table 870S and associated with indication of having been already learned in other word book tables 870 stored in the selected word book table 870S in association with indication of having already been learned.
