<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of mounting conductive balls on a substrate by a device which fills conductive balls in a plurality of openings of a mask, the method being capable of shortening a mounting time of the conductive balls. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes moving a ball holding device reciprocally by a moving device while keeping a plurality of movement areas A1-A4 at intervals of a predetermined value so that a plurality of heads move so as to pass through a first opening group array 121 including several opening groups M where centers of the movement areas A1-A4 are arranged successively in a direction of a forward movement through which the movement areas A1-A4 do not pass yet, and a second opening group array 122 which adjoins the first opening group array 121 and through which the movement areas A1-A4 do not pass yet in forward and backward movements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
