The invention relates to a device for melt-spinning, drawing off, stretching, relaxing, and winding a synthetic thread. The device has a spinning apparatus, a galette system, and a winding apparatus, wherein the galette system contains at least one driven drawing-off galette, a plurality of driven stretching galettes, and a plurality of driven relaxing galettes, which are arranged one after the other with respect to a thread course and which guide the thread on the curved guiding surfaces thereof at a thread wrap of at most 270°, wherein the curved guiding surfaces of the galettes are heated or unheated. According to the invention, in order to minimize the control complexity of the plurality of galettes of the galette system, at least one of the relaxing galettes has a heated large curved surface, which has a larger diameter than the upstream heated curved guiding surface of the upstream stretching galettes and/or relaxing galettes. |
