The drive (1) has two motors (2, 3) e.g. hydraulic motors, spur gears (4, 12) and three clutches (8-10) that are operated using a gearing technology and not with spur gear technology. An input shaft is switched to one of spur gears through a clutch of a gear wheel. A mechanical-electrical hybridization is realized by a mechanical path through the input shaft and an electrical path of one of motors. The input shaft is switched over the clutch on the spur gears, and a motor is decoupled through other clutches for controlling power of the motor. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a hybrid drive.
