PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to prevent light leakage in an edge part of a display area by forming a sub-pattern for preventing light leakage on an overlapped area of a color filter pattern. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pixel electrodes(170) is connected to a TFT(Thin Film Transistor). A plurality of common electrodes(173) is connected to a common line. The common electrodes and the pixel electrodes are alternately formed. A first edge light leakage prevention pattern(151) is formed by resin including black pigment. The first edge light leakage prevention pattern wraps a display area in a non-display area.
