A method for data transmission in paging state: a base station receives data frames carrying transmission data sent by a radio network controller (RNC), a data frame format is selected by the RNC according to terminal information and cell configuration information; the base station determines the timing relationship between paging indicator and transmission data sent to terminal according to data frame format and timing relationship parameters; the base station sends paging indicator to the terminal, and sends transmission data to the terminal according to the determined timing relationship; after the terminal has received the paging indicator, the terminal determines receiving time for receiving the transmission data according to the timing relationship parameters, the terminal information and the cell configuration information. In so far as a PCH channel has been configured in the cell, the present invention prefers the PCH channel for sending paging data, and thereby avoids any mutual interference between a traditional PCH channel and a HS-PDSCH which carries paging messages in enhanced paging mode. |
