<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel oil composition excellent in kinematic viscosity stability during storage. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel oil composition is prepared by mixing a heavy material or a mixed heavy material of the heavy material and a light material (1) with a light material (2), wherein the heavy material or the mixed heavy material contains ≤10 mass% of an asphaltene content; the number of aromatic rings of the average structural parameter value of the asphaltene content is ≤80; the H value of the light material (2) calculated by (Expression 1) and the H' value calculated by (Expression 2) are both -230 to 32; the light material (1) or the light material (2) has an aroma content of 10 to 80 vol%; the light material (2) contains ≤15 vol% of an olefin content amount; and the fuel oil composition has a content of the heavy material of 56 to 65 vol%, and a kinematic viscosity at 50°C of 121 to 180 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/s. H value=870×Log(Log(kinematic viscosity at 50°C+0.8))+154...(Expression 1).
