The element has an insulating body arranged between a building and a preassembled outer part, and reinforcement elements consisting of press elements, which run horizontally and transverse to horizontal longitudinal extension of the insulating body in an inserted state of the element for thermal insulation. The press elements are indirectly connected to the building and the outer part. The press elements are made using a two-part or multi-part mold (1). The mold is arranged in combination with the press elements in the thermal insulation element. The mold consists of high density polyethylene.
