PURPOSE: A light emitting device, backlight unit, display device and manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve color reproducibility and luminous efficiency by using a quantum dot as a wavelength conversion member. CONSTITUTION: A wavelength conversion unit is located in the light path emitted from a light emitting unit(20). The wavelength conversion unit converts wavelength of the light emitted from the light emitting unit. An optical transmission unit(40) is formed in at least one side of the wavelength conversion unit. The wavelength conversion unit arranges patterns of a first quantum dot and a second quantum dot.
