PURPOSE: A road surface member for a tire tester and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to control the deviation of a test result by reducing the deviation of out-of-roundness and flatness generated in the tire tester. CONSTITUTION: A road surface member for a tire tester(10) comprises a road surface base(2). The road surface base comprises a road surface(2a) where a tire(11) contacts. The rod surface is coated with a thermally sprayed steel film with hardness higher than the road surface base. A surface of the thermally sprayed steel film is polished.
