PURPOSE: A composite insulation material is provided to ensure excellent strength and insulation using activated loess as a binder. CONSTITUTION: A composite insulation material contains 40-50 parts by weight of water and 26-38 parts by weight of a core material based on 100 of binding material. The binding material contains activated loess and cement in a weight ratio of 1:1. The activated loess is prepared by plasticizing raw loess. The core material contains a porous ceramic ball and the natural fiber.
