DEVELOPER FOR REPLENISHMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide developer for replenishment which sufficiently ensures replenishing performance of toner and a carrier from a container of developer for replenishment and suppresses generation of toner granules due to fusion of the toner in the vicinity of a replenishing port.

SOLUTION: A container 100 of developer for replenishment comprises a cylindrical container body 1 and a cover member 2 which covers an open end 1c of the container body 1 and has on its peripheral surface a replenishing port 21 communicating with the inside of the container body 1. The container body 1 includes a first guide part 11 which conveys developer for replenishment towards the replenishing port 21 side by rotating around an axis with respect to the cover member 2. At the open end 1c of the container body 1 and inside the inner surface of the cover member 2, stirring claws 31 are provided which extend from the open end 1c to the replenishing port 21 and rotates in synchronization with the rotation of the container body 1. The developer for replenishment contains: toner containing a binder resin, colorant, and a straight chain or branched paraffin wax; and a carrier having a volume-average particle diameter of 20 to 80 μm.
