<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil cooled screw compressor capable of suppressing the leakage of the oil to a primary side of a suction throttle valve quickly coping with the case that a belt is cut. <P>SOLUTION: This oil cooled screw compressor includes: a compressor body 1 compressing air while injecting oil in a working chamber; an electric motor 2, a belt 8 stretched between pulleys 1a, 2a provided at a rotary shaft of the compressor body 1 and a rotary shaft of the motor 2, respectively, and transmitting power of the motor 2 to the compressor body 1; and a suction throttle valve 18 provided at a suction side of the compressor body 1. The oil cooled screw compressor includes a current sensor 7 detecting a motor current, and a control device 3 calculating a decreasing rate A of the motor current during an operation of the compressor body 1 and controlling the suction throttle valve 18 in a fully closed state when it is determined that a decreasing rate A of the motor current is equal to or more than a preset threshold A<SB POS="POST">0</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
