The apparatus comprises a container for water storage, two electrodes arranged in the container, a water inlet, a detonating gas outlet, and a magnetic device with which a magnetic field is generated in the space between the electrodes. The magnetic device is a rod magnet. A metal wire mesh is arranged in the container. Electrode tips are coated with silver. Independent claims are included for: (1) a wind power plant; and (2) a power supply unit for home.
