<p>PURPOSE: An electronic device and a control method thereof are provided to minimize a distortion of a screen showed to a user caused by bending a flexible display. CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit(140) obtains a flexion state of a flexible display. A control unit(180) displays an image on the flexible display, obtains a reference line based on the flexion state of the flexible display, and transforms the image at the rate of a distance to the reference line. The rate is set with a value for inversely compensating an image distortion caused by the flexion of the flexible display. The flexion state includes one or more of a flexion area, a flexion direction, and a flexion degree. The control unit obtains the rate based on the flexion area, the flexion direction, and the flexion degree. The control unit obtains the rate to enlarge/reduce the image according to the distance to the reference line.
