<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a protein involved in a molecular mechanism between Akt and cell motility as well as to elucidate its function and find its application, relating to an application of Actin-Binding Protein, especially, relates to an application of Actin-Binding Protein Girdin (Akt Phosphorylation Enhancer), a new substrate of serine/threonine kinase, to disease associated with the protein. <P>SOLUTION: A protein or partial peptide thereof containing an amino acid sequence identical or substantially identical to a specific amino acid sequence is utilized in the screening of a compound or a salt thereof that activates or inhibits any of cell motility, cell migration and angiogenesis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
