<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof box which has high waterproofness without using any packing. <P>SOLUTION: A waterproof box 1 includes a main body case 3 and an upper cover 2. The upper cover 2 is fitted to the main body case 3 by engaging a hook part 6 at one end 2a of the upper cover 2 with a projection part 7 at one end 3a of the main body case 3 and rotating the upper cover 2 around the hook part 6 as a center of rotation. The one end 3a of the main body case 3 and the one end 2a of the upper cover 2 have double-wall structures including outer walls 21, 31 and inner walls 22, 32 respectively. In the state in which the upper cover 2 is fitted to the main body case 3, the outer wall 31 of the main body case 3 is arranged inside the outer wall 21 of the upper cover 2, the inner wall 22 of the upper cover 2 is arranged inside the outer wall 31, and the outer wall 31 and the inner wall 32 are spaced with each other.
