<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment device which utilizes the electric discharge generated between electrodes facing each other, has a simple constitution and is capable of improving the performance of water treatment while saving power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The water treatment device 1 is composed by providing a plurality of protrusions 3 inclined on the vertical downside on at least one surface of a vertically provided ignition electrode 2. Thereby, air bubbles contained in water to be treated supplied from below are trapped to be stored temporarily at the lower side of the protrusions 3. Since the bubble can be efficiently introduced near the protrusions 3 of the ignition electrode 2, the consumption of power required for discharge can be stably reduced. Further, since the interval between the electrodes excluding the protrusion can be widened to increase the flow to be treated, the efficiency of water treatment is enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
