[Also in Division F2] In a strip 40 of extruded plastics receptacle members 20 each member 20 forms a part of a fastener assembly and comprises a head 21, apertured to receive a male fastening member, two legs 26, separated by a channel 36, which permits resilient movement of legs 26, when inserted in an aperture, and the head 21 of each member 20 is hingedly connected to the adjacent member 20 of the strip 40. In one arrangement, Fig. 6, for inserting receptacle members 20 one at a time in position the strip 40 is fed through a hand tool 50 by a slidable button 64 until the leading member 20 can be bent through 90 degrees to the tool, the tool 50 then being twisted to shear the leading member from the strip.
