The apparatus (1) has a carrier and a carrier head protruding against a measurement object. The carrier head or the carrier is provided with a recess for receiving a mandrel protruding from the carrier or carrier head. A bore (7) is provided, which leads to the recess of the carrier or carrier head. A pin is clamped against the mandrel in the bore for securing the support head on the carrier. The bore and the pin are provided with a thread, where a closure element is formed by a sealing lacquer or a sealing plug (5).
