PURPOSE: A colored curable resin composition is provided to provide a film which has high contrast and is suitable as a color filter with high contrast, and to obtain a liquid crystal display with excellent display performance. CONSTITUTION: A colored curable resin composition comprises a colorant, a resin, a polymerizable compound, and a polymerizable initiator. The colorant comprises xanthene dye and anthraquinone dye. The colorant comprises 0.1-70 weight% of the anthraquinone dye based on the total weight of the colorant. The colorant additionally comprises a pigment. The colored curable resin composition can produce a high contrast color filter layer(23A).
