PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manage authentication information required by a printer and perform necessary update in print services developed in the Internet.

SOLUTION: In a step S705, an execution job management unit inquires of a session information management unit of an authentication server about validity of an authentication token for every element in an authentication token update list 505 created by steps S701 to S704. In a step S706, on the basis of a reply from the session information management unit, the execution job management unit determines whether a result in the step S705 is successful. When it is successful, the session information management unit updates the last access time of session management information. A validity period of the authentication token is set for a predetermined time from the last access time, thus, as the last access time is updated, the validity period of the authentication toke is extended again.
