<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately estimate a high-rate resistance increase in secondary batteries. <P>SOLUTION: ECU includes acquiring sections 610 and 620, a resistance calculation section 630, an estimation section 640, and a high-rate resistance increase calculation section 650. The acquiring section 610 acquires a measured current Ir of a battery. The acquiring section 620 acquires a measured voltage Vr and a measured temperature Tb of the battery. The resistance calculation section 630 calculates a measured resistance Rr of the battery by using the measured current Ir and the measured voltage Vr. The estimation section 640 calculates an estimated current Im and an estimated resistance Rm of the battery from a previously given battery model, using the measured voltage Vr and the measured temperature Tb as input variables. The high-rate resistance increase calculation section 650 calculates a high-rate resistance increase ΔRh by using a calculation formula: ΔRh=(Im-Ir)/Ir×Rm=(Im-Ir)/Im×Rr=(1-1/Dh)×Rr. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
