<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel substrate which can identify the reaction specificity of CBH I and CBH II, and to provide a method for measuring the CBH I and CBH II activities using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The thioglycoside compound is represented by general formula (1) wherein at least one of G<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and G<SP POS="POST">2</SP>denotes a cellobiose residue, the remainder denotes a monosaccharide residue or an oligosaccharide residue of di- or more oligosaccharides and, X<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and X<SP POS="POST">2</SP>each denote a hydrogen atom, a monosaccharide residue or an oligosaccharide residue of di- or more oligosaccharides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
