<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens which is suitable in particular as a zoom lens for a compact high-performance digital camera, achieves a half angle of view of 38 degrees or more at a wide angle end, and is miniaturized in storage and to provide an imaging apparatus using the zoom lens. <P>SOLUTION: The zoom lens includes, in order from an object side along an optical axis, a first lens group I having negative refractive power, a second lens group II having negative refractive power, and a third lens group III having positive refractive power, moves at least the first lens group I and the second lens group II, to vary power, and can be stored in an imaging apparatus body in nonuse. A reflection optical element 9 for folding an optical path is arranged between the first lens group I and the second lens group II and a reflection optical element 8 is fixed with respect to an image surface IM, when varying the power and retreated when the zoom lens is stored in the imaging apparatus body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
