<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction pile which can stably provide a strong supporting force and can be firmly connected to an above-ground building and another construction pile without soldering, and a construction method using the construction pile. <P>SOLUTION: A construction pile includes a pile body 21 which has a central axis L extending vertically, is formed in a pipe shape having an opening 212 at at least one end, and has at least one reinforcing unit 22 fixed inside a pipe. The reinforcing unit 22 has a metal rod 221 which is orthogonal to the central axis L and fixed by inserting both ends thereof into a pipe wall 211 of the pile body 21.
