A lighting device (100) is configured so that a vortex flow fan (17) forms a first air flow (40) within a first space (S1) having an LED support body (2) disposed therein and the first air flow (40) discharges air, which has flowed into the first space (S) from the outside of the device, from the first space (S1) to the outside of the device. A casing (16) divides the first space (S1) and a second space (S2) which has an electric power source board supporting body disposed therein, and the casing (16) prevents the air, which has flowed into the first space (S1) from the outside, from flowing into the second space (S2). Thus, the light source is sufficiently cooled by the air flow generated using the air blower, etc., thereby preventing the temperature of the light source from increasing and also preventing the temperature of the electric power source board, which is incorporated within the housing of the lighting device, from increasing. |
