The invention relates to a cable screw connection having a base part (1) and a sleeve nut (2) and comprising several elongate clamping pieces (15) between a cable (4) and the base part (1) or the sleeve nut (2), which pieces extend in the longitudinal direction of a longitudinal axis of the cable screw connection and which pieces are mounted such that the pieces can move at least in part radially to the longitudinal direction. At least some of the clamping pieces (15) are arranged adjacent to one another in the circumferential direction. At least some of the clamping pieces (15) have first oblique faces (5) at a first end, and at least some of the clamping pieces (15) have second oblique faces (16) at a second end opposite the first end. The first oblique faces (5) interact with a first conical region (6) on a circumferential face on the base part (1), and the second oblique faces (16) interact with a second conical region (17) on a circumferential face on the sleeve nut (2) in such a manner that, when the base part (1) and sleeve nut (2) move axially toward one another, at least the first and second ends of the clamping pieces (15) can move along the oblique faces (5; 16) radially inwardly toward the cable (4). |
