The invention is a precoding device (109) that performs a preliminary process on outgoing data to be sent to a wireless receiver from a wireless transmitter having multiple antennas, and is provided with: a linear filter generator(301) that generates a linear filter on the basis of an estimated result for a propagation path between an antenna (111) and a wireless receiver; a signal converter (303) that performs a complex plane expansion for a candidate perturbation term of a perturbation vector to be added to an outgoing data vector, and for a reference signal associated with the outgoing data; and a perturbation vector probe (305) that on the basis of the candidate perturbation term and the reference signal expanded onto the complex plane, performs a quadrant probe and retrieves the perturbation vector to be added to the outgoing data vector. The invention calculates an outgoing signal vector by adding the retrieved perturbation vector to the outgoing data vector, and multiplying the result by a linear filter.
