<p>The electric toothbrush (1) is provided with a main body (2), a portion of which is grasped by the user, and a brush part (21) that is interchangeably installed on the main body. The main body comprises a touch sensor switch (124) that is provided in an area other than the area that is grasped and is for accepting external operation, and a control part for controlling the action of the electric toothbrush according to the operation received by the touch sensor. When a first operation is received by the touch sensor, the control part signals that an operation can be accepted for a specified period and when a second operation received by the touch sensor during the specified period is an operation of a prescribed pattern, the control part controls the action according to the second operation.</p> |
