PURPOSE: A method for early diagnosing gestational diabetes is provided to predict and early diagnose the possibility of developing gestational diabetes. CONSTITUTION: A method for early diagnosing gestational diabetes comprises: a step of quantitation of the expression level of aplipoprotein C3 in blood, plasma, or serum isolated from a pregnant mother through secondary electrophoresis, a biochip, or an antibody; a step of quantitation of blood glucose in the blood, plasma, or serum; and a step of determining whether the expression level of apolipoprotein C3 is within the range of preset risk apolipoprotein C3. The gestational diabetes risk is early diagnosed referring to the blood glucose test result.
