Magnesium oxide for treating magnesium deficiency in plants

Treatment of magnesium deficiency in plants using a foliar feed containing magnesium oxide. This has the advantage over magnesium sulphate heptahydrate solutions in that it is not readily washed off the foliage and compositions containing higher concentrations of magnesium can be used without phytotoxicity and as a result fewer applicatins are required.
