PURPOSE: A drum washing machine is provided to measure rotary numbers of a drum regardless of the kind of motors. CONSTITUTION: A sensor includes a light receiving unit(2) and a light emitting unit(3). The light emitting unit is installed outside a drum(4). The light receiving unit is installed at the bottom of a main body. When the drum is rotated, the light receiving unit generates an infrared ray. The light emitting unit senses the infrared ray. |
