An expansion bolt for attaching insulation cladding to a building comprises threaded shank. A plastics sleeve and a rubber sleeve surround a portion of the shank, the sleeves being arranged between two nuts which threadedly engage the shank. Turning of the shank, in use, causes the nuts to rotate and move axially along the shaft to cause the rubber sleeve to compress axially and thereby expand radially. |
