APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DYNAMIC VOLTAGE SCALING

PURPOSE: A dynamic voltage scaling device and a method thereof are provided to improve the power efficiency of a wideband transceiver by providing minimum voltages for operating a system by updating power by sensing bit rates. CONSTITUTION: A bit rate sensing unit(310) senses the bit rate information of a wideband signal by receiving the wideband signal and a reference clock signal. A power voltage control unit(320) outputs a control signal according to the bit rate information. A dynamic voltage scaling voltage generating unit(330) generates external power as dynamic voltage scaling voltages according to the control signal and outputs the dynamic voltage scaling voltage corresponding to the bit rate information to a driving unit(200). The driving unit is driven as a wideband transceiver by using the dynamic voltage scaling voltage.
